Need Help?

I don't know what your destiny will be, but one thing I do know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve.

Albert Schweitzer

Raising a family is hard enough, but doing it with the threat of homelessness is a true challenge. Interfaith along with its community partners and faith group supporters does what it can to assist families at times when there appears to be no help or solace. Through helping to identify resources, a plan of action and providing good doses of encouragement, dignity and respect, we see our shelter not as a destination but rather a stop along the way to stability and health.

If you need help now, see the resources on this page.

If you have needed help in the past and now have a desire to give back, please consider volunteering at Interfaith or one of our many partner agencies.

How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.

If you have rarely needed assistance—perhaps never had the experiences associated with poverty and/or homelessness and want to share your resources out of gratitude and justice, please consider giving generously of your time and financial blessings.

The Interfaith Association partners with faith-based groups, but there are no faith requirements to obtain services, and no religious services are held. The Interfaith Family Shelter welcomes:

  • Pregnant women
  • Families of single parents (mother, father or guardian)
  • Two parent families
